🚀 Event Recap:  “𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 – 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭” November 27, 2025 | 📍 Arendt & Medernach Hosted by GFR (Global Fund Risk), ALRiM & Arendt The conference offered an insightful overview of risk management for crypto assets — from the evolving regulatory framework and governance of the decentralised landscape to supervisors’ expectations — concluding with a panel discussion on key risk-management considerations for the financial sector.   Marc Mouton (Arendt) presented key elements on 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬. Mehdi Soltan (Sana group) shared valuable insights on 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞. On Wednesday Nov 19 as part of the Fraud Awareness Week, we had the pleasure of hosting our first FinCrime and Forensics Tech Day at EY Luxembourg. After a dynamic panel discussion featuring esteemed guests including Sundhevy Debrand from the Ministry of Justice, Luc Neuberg, PhD Neuberg from ALRiM, Sylvie Rodrigues (Independent Director), and Ajay Bali from EY Consulting we had the pleasure to attend showcases from four leading tech providers: Cascade, Reform, Pegasystems and Finologee. We concluded the event with some dedicated Know Your Assets EY Solutions as well as with an insight on Tax credit impact for digital project. As a summary, it’s happening now, the AI & Tech high speed train has now left the station. It’s time to catch it up and to continue to drive innovation in the fight against financial crime.
