🚀 Launch of the ALRiM 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩   On Friday, 26 June 2026, ALRiM was pleased to hold the inaugural meeting of its 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩. This new initiative reflects ALRiM's commitment to strengthening collaboration among risk professionals and fostering the exchange of best practices across industries in Luxembourg and beyond. The Working Group provides a dedicated forum for discussing emerging risks, regulatory developments, governance challenges and innovative approaches to 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫.   A sincere thank you to EY 𝐋𝐮𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐠 for generously hosting this first meeting and supporting the launch of this important initiative. A very special thank you to Lorenzo Stipulante for his dedication, invaluable support and outstanding work in organising and launching this new Working Group. Today marked the successful launch of the first session of the GFR (Global Fund Risk) & ALRiM 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 on "𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑭𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔." In an increasingly complex global environment, geopolitical developments are no longer peripheral events, they have become key drivers of investment, governance, and risk management decisions. Today's session provided participants with practical insights into identifying, assessing, and integrating geopolitical risk into investment fund governance and decision-making.
